duerespectguvWalking halfway across the island with a throbbing shoulder's not Declan's idea of a good time but he's all right with it considering Kate's appointed herself to come with. He's always been fond of Kate, always thought she was brilliant with weapons and hand to hand and their senses of humor (sometimes) gel but it's different here on the island, somehow.
On the island, she's the only one who knows most of what's going on back home since Magnus and Zimmerman are clueless about Kali even, not to mention Hollow Earth. She's not from as late as he is, true, but it's close enough.
He lets them in and turns to her, grin on his face.
"Make yourself at home, then. What's mine is yours."
